Asset Guidance Group, LLC — Wallace R. Nichols, JD, MBA
Just as I stand behind you to help you pursue your financial dreams, I have teams standing behind me and supporting my business. These firms also strengthen our relationship by providing the resources I need to better serve you.
Hi, I’m Wallace R. Nichols, MBA, JD, and I am the managing member and Investment Advisor Representative of Asset Guidance Group, LLC, a Registered Independent Advisor (“RIA” or “AGG”).
As a RIA, AGG is governed by the Investment Company Act of 1940 (“40 ACT”) and is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and state securities laws of Georgia, primarily regulated through the Department of Banking and Finance.
Our Custodial Trading Platforms: Folio Institutional and TD-Ameritrade
While a broker-dealer helps supervise and facilitate the trading that converts your cash into invested assets, and charges fees for those activities, your assets are actually held by a custodian. I use Folio’s hybrid-robo advisor platform that holds brokerage accounts (including the brokerage accounts within IRAs) and fulfills a legal responsibility for safeguarding your assets while also providing related administrative services on your behalf, including settlement of purchases, tax and account record keeping, monthly statements, confidentiality and data integrity protections, and more. If by chance you hold or need a security that is not listed on Folio’s platform, we can access it via TD-Ameritrade’s platform. Go here to read KPMG’s analysis of robo-advisors.
My Most Important Connection Is With You
While AGG’s Money Managers and Folio’s Ready to Go portfolios and offering of ETFs and mutual funds and a variety of other securities play important roles in my day-to-day servicing of your needs, the most important relationship I have is undoubtedly with you. FAN recognizes this fact and we all model our services based on that fact. The philosophy is simple. Because I am the Investment Advisor Representative and managing member of the RIA, I can offer the best possible fees and most flexibility for the advice and service offerings to my clients.
Anytime you would like more information about AGG, Folio Institutional or TD-Ameritrade, please do not hesitate to ask. I want you to feel confident that you understand, to your satisfaction, how we work with and through these firms, why I have chosen to work with FAN, and the absolute priority both FAN and I place on my relationship with you.
Among the many benefits I have as an RIA are:
- Independent access to a carefully structured lineup of diversified, unaffiliated, money-managers that have proven records of outstanding money management
- Appropriately competitive client fees
- Environment allowing the best possible service for our clients
Technology Assisted Risk Analysis:
The first important matter to address is your risk appetite. We analyze that using Riskalyze, a service that quantifies your risk profile where we can then put it to work for you. About Asset Guidance Group, LLC
Attorney Wallace R. Nichols’ Estate Planning, VA Pension Planning, and Elder Law practice centers on wealth accumulation, asset protection, legacy planning and asset transfer strategies.
For 20 years, Mr. Nichols has successfully helped clients:
• obtain the compensation they deserve for losses caused by others;
• develop wealth accumulation, asset , legacy planning, asset transfer strategies, and probate/fiduciary litigation.
• develop wealth accumulation, protection and transfer strategies to ensure distribution of wealth in accord with clients’ intentions;
• preserve their estates and legacies; and
• protect their rights against creditors and predators to the fullest extent of the law.
Wally began practicing law in 1992 engaged in general litigation, concentrating in family law (high conflict resolution), probate litigation and debtor/creditor law until circa 2005. In 2005, Wally refocused his law practice on general civil litigation: personal injury, consumer fraud, real estate and probate litigation only. In 2011, Wally further narrowed his practice to focus like a laser-beam on wealth accumulation and transfer strategies, legacy planning, business planning and succession strategies, asset protection, along with the funding mechanisms necessary to implement all of these strategies.
Estate plans and litigation recoveries involve substantial sums of money the appropriate management of which frequently requires complex, structured financial services products. And, the legal side is only part of the total solution. So, always striving to be the consummate professional, Wally chose to put his M.B.A. experience to work and provide clients with the rest of the equation: financial services!
In 2011, Wally and expanded the scope of his services to clients to provide the penultimate, optimum solution to clients facing difficult choices in how best to manage all of these types of issues—delivering exceptional services as a lawyer in creating the entities required to protect and transfer lump sums, then following through on the funding and investment part of the equation as a professional, registered investment advisor to help clients grow, distribute or preserve that wealth and income stream prudently and wisely. Clients benefit because, after already investing substantial trust, confidences, time and money with Wally and his team to plan and create and implement the estate plan strategy, they don’t have to establish a new relationship with another professional adviser, who then has to learn the clients’ story and family all over again to invest the money for the long-term. It makes perfect sense because it gives clients the best of both worlds with a single professional! Plus, Wally is backed up by FAN’s team of experienced money managers. The result is that clients experience comprehensive, competent, peer-reviewed professional investment advice, support, and service without the hassle of driving from office to office or the need to repeat their situation to multiple professionals. It’s a powerful lineup offering a balanced analytic approach!
